Contact messages

When you use the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message. I use these details to read and respond to your inquiry and to continue any conversation you request. Sending a contact message does not sign you up for newsletter updates.

The form sends your submission through FormSubmit to my Gmail inbox. Please include only information needed for your inquiry.

Story updates

The newsletter form collects your email address and includes a record of your request to receive occasional updates about my stories, films, and projects. Signing up is optional.

Currently, signup requests are forwarded to my inbox through FormSubmit and handled manually. An automated mailing-list platform is not connected. You can withdraw your request at any time by emailing a.zhianmehr@gmail.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject, using the address you signed up with.

Services involved

FormSubmit processes form submissions to deliver them by email. Gmail receives and stores the resulting messages. This website is hosted through Sites on a ChatGPT site address. Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and request logs to operate and protect their services.

These providers have their own privacy practices, retention arrangements, and processing locations, which may be outside your country. See FormSubmit’s privacy notice, Google’s privacy policy, and OpenAI’s privacy policy for their information.

Private dashboard and uploaded media

The owner’s dashboard uses ChatGPT sign-in. A stable account identifier is stored to restrict editing access to the owner. Project drafts, published project data, and uploaded covers or trailers are stored using the hosting platform’s Cloudflare R2 storage. Drafts and unpublished uploads are restricted to the owner; published media is available to visitors who can access the website.

Contact messages and newsletter requests still go to my inbox and are not stored in this dashboard. If a published trailer uses an external video-file address, playing it connects your browser to that provider.

Cookies and browsing

The portfolio’s own code does not set advertising cookies or include an analytics tracker. The hosting platform and external services may use cookies or similar technologies for their own operation and security. Your browser settings allow you to manage cookies.

The app screens are illustrative previews, and the trailer sections currently contain no embedded video players from third-party platforms. Following an external link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy notice.

Keeping and using information

Contact correspondence is kept while needed to handle your inquiry and any related follow-up. Newsletter requests are kept while you wish to receive updates. I do not sell your contact details or publish your messages as part of the portfolio.

You can request deletion of your correspondence or signup request. Information may need to be retained where required by law or to resolve a dispute. Service providers may retain logs or backup copies under their own policies.

Your choices

You can contact me to ask what information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or stop receiving story updates. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights concerning your personal information. I may need to confirm that a request comes from the person concerned before acting on it.

Use a.zhianmehr@gmail.com for a privacy request. You do not need to subscribe or submit a contact form to browse the portfolio.

Changes to this notice

I’ll update this page when the website’s data handling changes—for example, when a newsletter platform or embedded trailers are added. The date above shows when this notice was last updated.
