Draft 1, Revision 2 of The Price of Freedom is complete. This revision focused on strengthening continuity, refining the final act, and giving the characters clearer resolutions. The story now has a revised screenplay to build on as I continue reviewing how its scenes and character journeys work together. The project remains in development, with further review and refinement ahead before production.
The first full screenplay draft of The Price of Freedom is complete. The project has moved from worldbuilding and sequence planning into a feature-length screenplay, bringing together the scenes, dialogue, and character journeys developed so far. My next step is a careful revision pass: reviewing the pacing, combining overlapping scenes where it strengthens the story, and giving the important moments room to breathe. The project remains in development as I refine the screenplay before moving toward production.
The main characters, rules of the world, and opening story arc have been established. Development has moved into Act II, expanding the supporting cast and the relationships that shape Daniel and Claire’s next steps. The full story comes first; screenplay development and production will follow.
